1991 is an important year in the history of disposable nitrile gloves. Nitrile gloves were born that year. Its birth road is not smooth. From the research of synthetic rubber to the production of nitrile rubber, to the appearance of nitrile gloves, this process has been changing.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the automobile industry flourished. In 1906, Bayer of Germany pioneered the development of synthetic rubber to make up for the shortage of natural rubber supply. Their plan is three years, and progress is correct. The world's first synthetic rubber polyisoprene came out in 1909. However, polyisoprene is not durable. When we plan to continue to develop new synthetic rubber, the output of natural rubber latex will increase and the price will fall. People immediately lost interest in developing time-consuming and expensive synthetic rubber. Does not contain synthetic rubber.
"You sing, I will be on stage." It took four years for synthetic rubber to reverse the situation of World War I. It consumes a lot of natural rubber, leading to a shortage of natural rubber and rising prices. People once again showed great interest in synthetic rubber, and more countries participated in the research and development of synthetic rubber.
Since then, synthetic rubber has flourished. In 1931, nitrile gloves were finally produced in a laboratory in Germany. In 1935, nitrile gloves won the opportunity of mass production in Germany and the United States due to its excellent performance. The outbreak of AIDS in the 1980s led to a sharp increase in the use of latex gloves. Insufficient supply of raw materials, prices began to change. At this time, "disaster is not alone", and large-scale allergy cases caused by latex gloves range from contact dermatitis to severe allergic reactions, and even life-threatening events often occur. Therefore, the market forces glove companies to innovate and find raw materials that can replace natural latex.
At that time, the synthetic rubber technology had matured and brought a lot of inspiration to the glove company, so PVC gloves, polyethylene gloves and polychloroprene gloves could be used. However, these gloves made of these materials have not been widely accepted by the market due to inconvenience in production or use, durability or high cost.
